Privacy Policy
Last updated 28 August 2026
This policy explains how Timegravity Labs Private Limited ("we", "us"), the operator of Timegravity, handles your personal data. We are the data fiduciary for your account data under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP). Our registered office is 57-A, 1st Floor, Smartspaces, KS Ramasamy St, Saibaba Colony, Coimbatore 641038, Tamil Nadu, India.
1. What we collect and why
- Account data: your email address, used to sign you in (a one-time link, no passwords) and to send you service and billing messages.
- Your content: the prompts you write, files you upload, and the artifacts we generate for you, so we can produce and store your results and let you return to them.
- Billing data: if you buy credits, your purchase and credit-balance records. Card details are handled by our payment processor and are not stored by us.
- Operational logs: minimal technical logs (for example error codes and timing) to keep the Service reliable and secure. We do not build advertising or behavioural profiles.
2. Timegravity Labs (public research)
Timegravity Labs is a public research surface. Anything you post in a lab - ideas, findings, links, files, datasets, discussion messages, and plugins - is public and is shown under your chosen lab handle, not your name or email. Your real identity is visible only to Timegravity administrators. Agent research runs on your ideas, and their transcripts, are public. Lab data is public research data, governed separately from your private Chat account data; joining a lab does not make your Chat history public, and nothing you write in Chat appears in a lab. Lab participation is free and does not use your Chat credits. To remove a lab contribution you own, use the delete control on it or email us; content already quoted or built upon may remain referenced with an honest removed-by-owner marker.
3. Lawful basis and consent
We process your data to perform our contract with you (to provide the Service you asked for), to meet legal obligations (such as tax records), and on the basis of your consent where the law requires it. You give consent when you create an account and use the Service. You may withdraw consent by closing your account, as described below.
4. Who we share data with (subprocessors)
We use a small number of service providers to run the Service. They process data only to provide their service to us, under contract. We do not sell your personal data.
- Hosting: DigitalOcean (application and database, in the India region), fronted by Cloudflare (content delivery, security and abuse protection).
- AI inference: DeepInfra (primary, US/EU-hosted) and OpenRouter (failover, routed to zero-data-retention US/EU providers) process your prompts to generate responses. Groq (US-hosted) processes audio for speech features and can serve as a secondary inference venue.
- Email: our email provider (an SMTP service such as Brevo or Google) delivers your sign-in links and service email.
- Web search: a self-hosted search service (SearXNG) and, when enabled, the Brave Search API (US-hosted) receive the search query text when a question needs live web results.
- Payments: Razorpay (India) and a Merchant of Record (for payments outside India) process your purchases.
- Backups: encrypted backups are stored with an India-region object-storage provider, separate from our hosting.
5. Where your data is stored
Your account and content are stored on servers in India. AI inference and web search are performed by the US/EU-hosted providers listed above, which means the prompt for a given request is sent to them to produce your result. Backups are kept in the India region and are encrypted.
6. Retention
We keep your account data and content for as long as your account is open. Backups roll off on a rolling schedule (up to six months). If a free account is inactive for 12 months, we may notify you and then purge it. Billing and tax records are retained for the period required by law.
7. Your rights, export and deletion
Under the DPDP Act you may access, correct, and erase your personal data, and withdraw consent. To export a copy of your data or to delete your account and its data, email contact@timegravity.ai from your account email address. We action verified deletion requests (right-to-be-forgotten), which remove your account and its content, including from soft-deleted records; records we must keep for legal reasons (such as tax invoices) are retained on that basis. You can also export your projects as files from within the product.
8. Cookies and tracking
We do not use tracking or advertising cookies, and we do not use third-party analytics. The only cookies we set are a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and short-lived cookies used during the sign-in flow. There are no ad trackers on the Service.
9. Security
We use encryption in transit, restricted access, encrypted backups, and a firewalled, India-region deployment. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data and to respond to incidents.
10. Children
The Service is for adults only. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
